How it works

From signing up to a payslip your caregiver can read — five steps.

  1. Step 1

    Create your account

Open the app, choose the employer portal and sign up — phone, email, password and your language. You land on an empty employment list, and you are now a person in the system too: yourself, the employer.

  2. Step 2

Add the worker and the patient

Add two more people: one with the role worker, one with the role patient. Each party needs an identity document on file before an employment can be signed — until then the sign button stays greyed out and tells you what is missing. Then pick the worker’s holidays: Israel’s calendar, their own country’s, or custom days, up to the number the law allows. The page counts for you.

  3. Step 3

Create the employment and set the conditions

Create an employment with a start date, the worker and the patient; it opens as a draft, so nothing is committed yet. Then one button fills the whole agreement from the statutory tables for that date — base salary at the minimum wage, every permitted deduction at its lawful cap. Negotiate upward from there by typing over any figure; each card explains the rule and warns if you exceed the cap. Save, then finalize and sign: the conditions become immutable and the employment goes active. A later raise is not an edit but a new conditions span from its own date.

  4. Step 4

    Pay the monthly salary

Pick the month and open the payslip. It is computed live and nothing is stored yet: base salary, rest days worked, gross pay — the national-insurance base — less the permitted deductions, down to the net you actually transfer. Adjust the rest-day count to what really happened, add any one-off line, fill in the payment details and mark it paid. Only then is the payslip stored, and it becomes permanent and unchangeable. Below it sit the amounts that are not cash this month: vacation, recuperation, severance and pension accruals, set aside for later.

  5. Step 5

    Pay the national insurance

On the same payroll page, open the national-insurance card — monthly or quarterly. It shows exactly the figures Bituach Leumi asks for, ready to copy across: the employer contribution on the worker’s gross pay. Pay it on their site, then come back and mark it paid with the reference. EldeRem does not move money; it tells you what to pay, to whom, and keeps the record that you did.
